Wheat Spraying

Just wanted to share these pictures with you. We had an airplane spray our wheat yesterday for fungus. We happen to have one field of wheat across the road from our house, so it was a good opportunity to take some good pictures. Oh, I should explain why we hired an airplane to spray it, the wheat is too big, to have our sprayer drive over it, and it would run too much down. When it is smaller, it doesn't hurt it as much. (farm lesson for today)
Planting update, Mark is almost done planting the corn, and will now move onto planting beans. His dad drills beans at the same time, so we will be able to get those planted quicker. We have had almost 1 full week of dry weather.

School is out Thursday. Anessa is done with her first year of college this week. Summer vacation is about to begin. Now....if we could just get those crops planted.

Girls' Night Out

A little eating, a little shopping, a little pampering, some more eating, & more shopping. And of course, a little mother and daughter bonding (which included a secret Weers' ritual). A good time was had by all. NO I did not get those blue shoes!!!
